Founder Reflection
Disciples Media was not formed out of a business plan — it was formed out of prayer, reflection, and a long-standing desire to serve God and the community in a sustainable way.
Over the years, I have seen individuals and ministry groups faithfully serve their communities through initiatives that meet real and immediate needs. These efforts are often deeply impactful, yet difficult to sustain without the coordination, resources, or support required to continue long-term.
This led me to ask a simple question:
How can service-driven initiatives — whether led by churches, families, or local organizations — be strengthened without losing their original heart for people?
Disciples Media exists to help steward partnerships, resources, and storytelling in support of initiatives that are already serving the community.
Through the POVAENGAGE platform, volunteers, organizers, and local sponsors are connected in a way that supports long-term impact while honoring the intent behind each initiative.
As a member of Potomac Valley Church, I remain committed to serving in worship, children’s ministry, and leading the Stafford Family Group. This work is not meant to replace ministry efforts, but to provide an additional vehicle through which individuals and groups can receive support for initiatives that are on their hearts.
It is my hope that this platform will strengthen community service efforts by making it easier for people to serve where they are called.
